   • The Macintosh computer in SCM teaching labs and Production Centre are well setup to authorize MAX.
     
     To use the MAX dongle to authorize the MAX on your own computer, you have to install iLok License Manager on your own computer to let it recognize the iLok dongle. Please note you do not need to launch iLok License Manager to authorize MAX, unless you want to use it to manage you own iLok dongle.

7. Where are my PC desktop files?
   • Starting from August 2013, SCMLAB PC Windows desktop is not linked to network home anymore. Therefore, files saved on Windows desktop are removed when the system is rebooted. Users are required to save their files in their network home drive (drive U in PC) if they want to keep them. Old desktop files saved before this change can be found in the folder "U:\desktop".
